Ride-Rite air helper springs are the workhorse of Firestone's air helper spring line. The double convoluted air springs offer maximum load capacity as well as years of worry-free service and support.
Ride-Rite air helper springs are installed between the frame of your vehicle and the suspension, providing load support by using air pressure.
Firestones air springs have become synonymous with quality, durability, and customer support that is second to none. Ride-Rite air bag kits utilize a pair of convoluted air springs which can be adjusted to accommodate your load capacity. The Ride-Rite series is capable of 3,200 - 5,000 lbs. of load level capacity. After installed, your ride will be enhanced by reducing inter-leaf friction which will keep your truck level, reduce suspension fatigue, and increase the stability of your Ford vehicle.
Overall, Ride-Rite air bags have many advantages for your vehicle and will help to improve steering control and braking effectiveness, level headlight beams, reduce tire wear, keep leaf springs from permanent sagging, reduce bottoming out with air cushions between the axle and frame, absorb road shock, and match your vehicles load for an overall improved ride.
Absolutely awesome product, easy to install and does the job. From towing my camper to a loaded bed of stone, these bags perform perfectly.
This product works! Keeps my truck level even with 1650 lbs. on the back. Also reduces sway by firming up the rear.
Great product! Very simple installation and operation. When they say "NO-DRILL", they mean it!
Installed Ride-Rite Air Bag system in Fall. Only used once. Very happy with results. Have F350,hauled Silverback 5th with hitch weight of 1800 pounds, now have Carri-Lite with hitch weight of 3100 pounds. Now we are back to an even travel haul, level and not a vee. A good investment. Installed the pump switch in a storage bin in lower dash,no one sees the components, very convenient.
Would give it 4.5,but that was not an option..Excellent Kit...Came woth everything you need to instal ..On my 2006 F-250 ,i did have to cut a little out of the bracket .Was no big deal ..I was aware of it bfore by reading the pdf install instructions..Install was easy..Im a perfectionist ,,so it took me about 4 hrs ,that included taking out and reinstalling spare tire. and putting the air lines into wire loom and securing it properly..I put the air valves in the bottom holes for my license plate instead of drilling new holes in bumper.
Just follow directions ,it was very easy .
I should have put this kit in years ago,,it definitely added stability when towing my 12,000 lb touhauler and eliminated any sag.
Awesome kit,,well worth the money ..highly recommended !!
