The plow blade actually has hydraulic pressure pushing it down which enables ice removal and avoids double runs. The Direct Linkage system is a black iron frame that connects directly to the chassis, so “chain slap” is eliminated when going over bumps or rail road tracks. Polycarbonate is transparent, but don’t be fooled, it’s the same material used to make bullet proof glass and fighter jet windows.
