My truck already had air springs on it when I bought it but had air fittings on the bumper and that was a real pain because I hook and drop my trailer multiple times a day. This air compressor system was super easy to install and with the air gauge I can always get the same air pressure easily. I have two trailers one 12000# and one 7000# and once I established the air pressure for each I just pump it up. This thing has a lighted dial and a little push button dump valve, the compressor fills the air springs fast. When not towing a trailer it has a built in pressure switch that maintains 5# pressure to keep the air springs slightly inflated. I mounted it behind the rear seat and the total install time for me was about 1 1/2 hours. It came with all the fittings and air line I needed for the install. Very Happy

It works well and I like being able to adjust the pressure from the cab. I just wish I had thought about buying a bigger one that could be used to fill tires as well

Well it does work, but it's very slow. And other wiring is only one color in (red) And the switches, and connectors are made from the very cheapest crap known to man

Easy to hook up. Works good for rear air bags to level truck. Simple operation.

Ever installed it. Wish I could return it, but I'm guessing it's been too long.

I really like the ease of having the onboard compressor for the rear bags! Beats the heck out of having to look for an air supply when I need to boost Payload. I would not get the auto fill sensor on my next bags though! When trying to run “aired down” every time you hit a dip it relaxes the bags and calls for air, giving a short burst from the compressor! Does this repeatedly until the bags get about 15 lbs on them, then it will hold there! Hit the bleeder to get a smoother ride and the cycle starts all over again! Just makes the truck ride rougher than it should when running loadless. Would have given it a five rating except for this small inconvenience.....

I had the installation done and it didnt take the mech very long, everything works good except the cheap air pressure gauge, I have to tap it because it gets stuck when relieving the air pressure. Other then that i like the bags alot. I would definitely go a different route when it comes to the gages.

The air bags I purchased were easy to install and work great when pulling my fifth wheel camper. Must more stable of a ride.one of the biggest feature I like is For increased safety, the Low Pressure Sensor automatically activates the compressor if air spring pressure falls below the minimum safe level Richard Cale.

The compressor wasn't strong enough by the time I installed it I decided it wasn't worth taking off to replace it so I just left it on my truck but the airbags work fine though

Installation of the air bags was aided greatly by the included instructions. While I was able to install the compressor components successfully, it required much more time and consideration for placement of the parts. More detailed instructions would be nice.

Very disappointed with the dark brown liquid the squirts out the relief valve when deflating the bags. Luck I have been in above freezing temperatures. Also the technical help I have received on this issue is NONE. I have been told I must have a leak, yet the bags hold pressure weeks without loosing pressure. Frustrated.

They was ok to install. Had a spacer missing so had to wait for it to ship. The air fittings that come with it are not very high quality. Put together and they all leaked so went and bought compression fittings and it was fine

Great system, works very well with the airride system, recommend it to all folks who haul the heavy trailers.

The Air ride springs I got have worked out perfectly. I installed them myself and it took a couple hours. I have the compressor inside the van and have use them several times to hold as much as 330 gallons of water on a tank in the front of my trailer. We don't drive down the road that way but we do drive around parking lots while pressure washing from our trailer. We stripe parking lots and before we could only add about 100 gallons of water before dragging the chains and scraping the hitch. Now I hold 330 gallons and I'm 1 inch from the chains with 80 psi on the Air Ride Springs. It works perfect for us. (and I did not even mention my fat cousin that helps sometimes) lol

Took a little while to find a good spot to mount the gauge (tacoma). Have a brake controller mounted on the left side above the e-brake so ended up removing the tray on the right side of the steering wheel and placed it there. Mounted the compressor under the hood close to the battery (plenty of room there) and ran wires through firewall boot.

The compressor system is very nice. I’ve had airlift helper bags on several trucks but never spent the money on the in-cab controls. I used to just filled the bags up through a Schrader valve I installed in the bumpers of those trucks. Now that I have experienced the in-cab controls, I probably won’t go back. It’s just too convenient to adjust on the fly. Installation was what you would expect. Take your time and follow the instructions. Don’t get in a hurry. I typically run with 15-20lbs when I’m unloaded in my bags on my ½ ton crew cab 4wd chevy, and 40-75 when towing my enclosed trailer. I monitor via the gauge. I have highly recommended the in-cab controls to my friends and family, but I would spring for a bigger compressor so you can use it for more than just airing up the bags. This compressor wouldn’t be able to handle anything more than the bags. I have a hunch it will be crapping out soon, but I’ve been saying that for 4 months now and it hasn’t missed a beat yet so maybe I sh
