B&W 1314 gooseneck hitch for all 1 ton Dodge applications made in 2013-2018!
The 2013-2018 Dodge Ram 3500 comes equipped with a new frame crossmember that are made for installing gooseneck and fifth wheel hitches. When looking at the GNRK 1314, you will notice that one of the differences is that the gooseneck does not have any rails or side plates. It will also come shipped in one box instead of two boxes. Included in the box will be a center section, mounting pieces, the handle, ball and the safety chain kit.
The B&W Gooseneck Hitch is rated to tow anything your Dodge Ram is rated to tow. It is very important to not exceed the vehicle tow rating. Installation is also faster and easier. Some changes were made to installation such as the Ram has a 3 ½ inch hole in the crossmember. It is recommended to drill a 3 ½ hole into the bed instead of a 4 inch hole. The new hole template made for this hitch will locate the drill hole for you. Two of the four safety chain holes will be drilling through the bed while the other two holes will be drilling through the bed and crossmember. Finally, you do not have to remove the bed to install this hitch onto your Dodge Ram.
The latching mechanism for the ball is located in the driver’s side wheel well, letting you turn over and store the ball in the bed of your truck. Similar to other Turnoverball applications, the safety chain brackets are located within the bed corrugation recess near the ball.

Notes
If the vehicle has the factory holes drilled into the bed, then this model will not work. If the vehicle just has the crossmember (called the prep package) then it will work.

The hitch is great. Eazy to install. This is my second one purchased. The one issue I have is the catch on the latch bolt does not always hold the bolt till you get up in the bed to remove the ball, I have had to get out a couple of times to release again

Installation of the B&W turnover ball on my 2015 Ram 3500 would have been a whole lot easier if the instructions had said to remove the tailpipe extension rather than push the tailpipe out of the way. When I did remove the extension the installation was simple. Aside from this problem I am very pleased with the product

I installed the hitch from beneath the truck, following the video tutorial directions. Everything went well. I had to order the 1" higher ball for more clearance between the trailer and top of bed on my 2014 RAM 3500 with the RAM box option.

Great product. Everything is as it says. Mounts great in the 13 dodge , mounts in a total of 10 minutes after you still the hole ..... The only complaint I have is I wish they would not paint/ powder coat the inside of the receiver ( the square hole where the ball shank goes) because as soon as the paint wears / chips inside there ( dosent take long) it loosens the tolerance between the gooseneck unit and the ball and shank creating a little room for wobble / movement Other than that rock solid

This is the third B&W Hitch that I have had over the years and was the easiest one to install of them all. It works great and no problems at all.

This worked like a charm.
It was delivered fast and I was able eo install it wirh no problem. towed my fith wheel about 2000 miles.
The only thing I would like is on the Companion some of the edges show rust because the powder coat is too thin.
