Description
In 1991, B & W patented their innovative gooseneck hitch that solved an issue many were having; how to remove the ball out of the bed when not towing. The B & W answer is to cut a 4 inch hole in the bed which accommodates the Turnover hitch ball, while the mounting system is bolted to the frame beneath the bed. This design is completed with a handle attached toa 5/8” locking pin that goes through the ball. When you do not need to use the hitch, the handle allows you to retract the pin and stow the ball upside-down, in the same receiver used while in action. This design was a great improvement to the welded-in ball and fold down plate solution.

Q: Will this hitch fit my 2014 Chevy ! Ton Truck?

Q: Is their any cutting/drilling involved?

perfect kit . the main advantage of this kit I must say is Meets all OEM fastening requirements . it convert from a hitch to a level bed in seconds in my vehicle which saves my time. i want rugged versatility in my vehicle and it gave me . excellent kit .

The hitch is well made and fairly easy to install. I do recommend viewing youtube videos along with using the installation instructions to make things easier. I installed it without a vehicle lift but did jack up the truck and put it on jack stands to remove the rear wheels. Some of the bolts/nuts are a little difficult to get to for tightening and properly torquing. I did use and recommend a torque wrench to torque all fittings. Be sure to follow the installation process in the order written so that all parts properly fall properly into place. Overall I highly recommend this hitch. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing product. Built very well. I tow my 18,000 toy hauler with this hitch and the B&W companion slider and it definetry can handle the weight. I have no hitch chatter, and its super easy to install the underbody mount. I installed it in about an hour with basic tools. You do however need to buy a 4" hole saw.

The hitch was not to hard to install. The directions were easy to follow. I found it easier to take the four bed bolts out of the right side and lift the bed up instead of cutting out the knotch in the bed. All the parts and pieces were in the boxes for the hitch. I have not used the hitch yet, because I do not have a goose-neck trailer. When I get one I will be ready to hook and go. I would recommend this hitch to anyone.

The flat bed is great when not towing. I had it installed by a vendor of yours. The quality is superior to others I have had. And I have recommended it to anyone who is looking to get an in bed hitch. As a matter of fact a friend just bought your companion fifth wheel hitch for their new Dodge truck. They ordered the truck with the goose neck hitch already installed.

AS far as I'm concerned this is the only way to go if your towing a fifth wheel. The instructions were in English and very easy to follow the installtion went without a problem. Now that I've removed it everyone is asking me where it is? I told them it's in the barn. They said where's the rail holes. I told them it's magic.

Well made piece of kit, instructions were easy to follow, install was a little difficult accessing all the bolts, but can be done with basic tools and a few beers and a couple of hours of time. Installed in my 2012 GMC 3500 and immediately used to haul loaded down 42' enclosed trailer across country 3 times.
