Ride-Rite air helper springs are the workhorse of Firestone's air helper spring line. The double convoluted air springs offer maximum load capacity as well as years of worry-free service and support.
Ride-Rite air helper springs are installed between the frame of your vehicle and the suspension, providing load support by using air pressure.
Firestones air springs have become synonymous with quality, durability, and customer support that is second to none. Ride-Rite air bag kits utilize a pair of convoluted air springs which can be adjusted to accommodate your load capacity. The Ride-Rite series is capable of 3,200 - 5,000 lbs. of load level capacity. After installed, your ride will be enhanced by reducing inter-leaf friction which will keep your truck level, reduce suspension fatigue, and increase the stability of your Dodge vehicle.

Q: Can I install this kit with a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch?
A: No, unfortunately the brackets would interfere with eachother. You could use something like a Dodge Timbren setup or a set of Dodge hellwig springs.

- Avoid lifting from the frame after the air springs are installed. If it is absolutely necessary to lift the vehicle by the frame be sure to deflate the bags completely before continuing

I had bought this air bag kit for my 89 dodge w350. With some trimming on the brackets I made them fit like it was made for the truck.

Easy to install. Handles the 5th wheel very well. I had them on a truck I bought several years ago for towing my camper. They were already on it when I bought the other truck and I was impressed with the enhanced stability and control I had when towing. So when I bought this truck I installed your product.
I'm also impressed at how well the system holds the air. I check it fairly frequently and have only had to add air once in 3 months. Very happy with the product and the help in purchasing this set and the ease at returning a previous set that would not work on my truck. Your customer service was outstanding.

The air bags worked awesome. I hauled a car 300 miles and was impressed with the ride that the air bags provided. The only complaint is I can't hold air in the system for longer than a few days. Probably installation error tho.

In the end they are great, truck handles considerably better under load. Not great for an empty truck because you have to hold min 10 psi in them, makes my truck “hop” more in the back end and gets a little squirrelly. The hardware could be a lot shorter and include a sequence of assembly would have made it go quicker. Overall, I’d put them on every truck I have a load on most of the time.

Awesome product. Very easy to install with direction given in package. Works great in 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. Make sure you order the tee so you can air up both sides at once "easier and equal amounts of air in both

Took a little longer to install than the 90 minutes, but worth the extra time. Makes my Ram 1500 handle like a dream pulling a 6000# travel trailer and cargo no matter what roads I travel!!

the kit Was easy to install only took me about a hour to install but need to update information About install with gooseneck on the truck. The air bags work great and looking forward to get the compressor kit in the future

Installed on my 2008 Ram 1500 four wheel drive. I haul a wake board boat, this has made the truck not sag and feel much more stable. Great product, very easy to install.

4 stars for the ease of install and capabilitys of this system. the air line fittings are not what I expected tho. I so not care for the push style line fittings. If the kit came with wedding band style fittings this would be a 5 star kit.

Installed this kit on my 2002 dodge ram 1500 quad cab tonight, Drove the truck home from work and couldnt instantly tell a difference, Any truck I own in the future will have Air bag helper springs, HIGHLY recommended.

The install was fairly simple and only took a few hours start to finish. I haven't had many opportunities to tow or haul loads with them yet but definitely noticed better handling when I did. I look forward to testing them out more in the near future.

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram pulling a 26 foot, 7,000lb travel trailer. The leaf springs on the rear were a little weak so I purchased the Firestone Air Bags. They took care of the problem!! Easy install, no drilling into the frame, and they work like they say!! I would recommend this product to anyone!

I have to say that this was one of the easiest installs that I've seen. What took the longest time was installing the airbag system on the passenger side of the vehicle due to the exhaust system because it took a few minutes to get the heat shield in the right position. Key NOTE! when putting in the passenger side airbag with heat shield it maybe tough to get the bolts back into the frame due to the fact that the heat shield gets in the way of the bolts. Also it is a lot easier to install if you remove the rear tires. The whole installation time took only 2 1/2 hrs. You will need a 15mm socket and wrench as well as a 9/16 deep well socket and wrench and a drill and drill bit. I would also recommend getting the optional tee air fitting as it aids in the ease of installation and also allows the air bags to transfer air from side to side which helps allow the axle to give from side to side on uneven ground. I was also pleased with the shipping as it arrived in less than a week.
