NOTE: This kit fits the 2013 Ram 3/4 Ton 2500 2wd 4wd but NOT the 2013 3500.
Ride-Rite air helper springs are the workhorse of Firestone's air helper spring line. The Firestone 2299 kit is one of the most popular kits in the Ride Rite lineup. The double convoluted air springs offer maximum load capacity as well as years of worry-free service and support.
This kit WILL WORK with dually models as well as any 3/4 or 1 Ton ram with an in bed hitch.
Ride-Rite air helper springs are installed between the frame of your vehicle and the suspension, providing load support by using air pressure.
Many of our Dodge customers will use the air springs to support loads from horse trailers, toy haulers, campers, and/or heavy hauling.
Firestones air springs have become synonymous with quality, durability, and customer support that is second to none. Ride-Rite air bag kits utilize a pair of convoluted air springs which can be adjusted to accommodate your load capacity. The Ride-Rite series is capable of 3,200 - 5,000 lbs. of load level capacity. After installed, your ride will be enhanced by reducing inter-leaf friction which will keep your truck level, reduce suspension fatigue, and increase the stability of your Dodge vehicle.

Firestone Ride-Rite 2299 FAQ with SD Truck Springs
Q: Will I be able to add a gooseneck hitch later on after I install this kit?
A:Yes, The NO-DRILL feature that is advertised with this kit means that there are preexisting holes drilled to match holes within the frame of the vehicle. The holes to mount the Air Bag kit are mounted on the opposite side as the gooseneck hitch allowing for both of them to exist on your vehicle without an issue.
Q: Will this kit fit on both a 2500 and 3500?
A: Depending on the year ranges, possibly. This kit is listed to fit on the 2003-2012 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 so as long as your vehicles fall within that category you are all set. If your having trouble matching vehicle applications we also have a section delegated within each product page that lists the year/make/model for each vehicle that this kit is compatible with.
Q: I already have a 2" lift on my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500, will i still be able to use this kit on my truck?
A: Absolutely. However, be sure to add on any necessary hardware to help bridge the gab that the 2" lift creates within the suspension system on your Dodge.

Great product. Bags installed in no time. I tow a 5th wheel that has 3000# of hitch weight and the truck now rides level with 40psi in the air bags.

I thought the install was fairly easy. I didn't even jack up my 3500 2012 Dodge Ram, 4x4 to install the airbags. I pull a 40 ft 5th wheel toy hauler, (14,000 lbs), and the bags made a big difference in the way that the 5th wheel pulled. The truck sets real level now when hooked up.

Very simple to install. Have bought 2 sets for two different trucks. Greatly improved the ride when pulling my 35ft fifth wheel camper. Made hauling the skid steer and dump trailer way better of ride. If I need another set for another truck I will defiantly buy these again.

This is a great product. I was very easy to install and fit the first time. Quality is great. On heavy loads it helps to get it all level making the entire trip much safer.

Received the product as described. With the help of a friend, we were able to install the kit in about an hour, with very detailed instructions. The vehicle (2005 RAM 3500 diesel/dually) left Michigan about a week later, headed for Oregon. Load was a Lance 981 on the bed (5K+ lbs), towing a 7'X16' trailer loaded with my MG sports car and all my tools. I put 90 lbs air in the shocks, did not experience any swaying or sagging. I am one very happy customer.

Great product.
Sup-er easy install took about an hour total to install on my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4.
Instruc-tions are very clear and easy to follow.
I have after market soft ride springs on my 2500 and needed the bags to help when I tow my 35 ft trailer as it would squat in the back about 4-5 inches with the soft ride springs the air bages allow me to bring it back to level with very little effort.
