The Timbren Kits we offer are extremely simple to install, require no maintenance, and come with a lifetime of use backed by warranty. The award winning "over load" systems are made of Rubber Aeon Springs and designed to provide maximum performance for stock suspensions.
Instructions for Installing GMFK25S Timbren Suspension Kit
Timbren Kits are made to increase the "level-load" carrying capacity of your vehicle. Never load the vehicle beyond the manufacturer's maximum gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR).
2002 Chevy 2500HD 6.0L Bought these to support the added weight of my Western plow. These are great!! Highly recommend these to anyone with a plow. The truck rides like normal with the plow on, but it's pretty stiff without it (not much give at all empty; ~800lbs). Had to loosen the upper shock mount almost all the way to get enough drop in the lower control arm to squeak these in. Probably could have completely unbolted it, but didn't want to fight to get it back together. As the instructions say, these are always in contact with the lower control arm. That being said, they do help control sway in the front. Very simple system with not much to go wrong. If airbags were available, I'd still go with these.
The Timbrens Worked out Great. I used them on my 2002 Chevrolet 2500hd. The reason for the timbrens was that I purchased a 9.5 western V plow that weighs close to 1000pds. The ride of the truck was effected when the plow wasn't connected but I removed them in a snap for the Spring and summer months . I will be re-installing for the winter. Great Product! I have 4 jeep cherokee sports with front timbrens and two with rear. Also have ford f-350 with rear. They are the. "Simplest" way to get more carrying capacity out of any vehicle!
Put these on my Chevy 3/4 ton pick up a couple of months ago. Rely easy to install. I have a ranch hand bumper on the front of my truck and they compensated for the extra weight. They also look like they will last a lot longer than the factory bump stops.
Very easy install, fast shipping, Knight and day difference on performance and handling on truck with a 8ft fisher blade
These front rubber bushings are a hundred times better than the stock hard foam pieces. Worked just as described with no issues installing them.
