Great customer service - spoke to rep on phone to order these & air suspension kit.Great help & arrived earlier than expected.Install has no aggravation.Ride improvement noticeable.replaced shocks that were OEM & only 1 year old, but Bilstein lived up to its reputation.Recommend SD to the remainder of the planet.
After 60k on the stock shocks, I switched to there. The difference is night and day! Smoothed out my F250, improved handling, ride and made my truck way more stable!
I installed these myself, and it wasn't too hard, there again, I'm a senior now, so it possibly took me longer than others. The only problem I encountered was when tightening the fronts, not realizing that you need to use a tool to hold the top portion of the shock from spinning, as you tighten the nut! Bottom was a piece of cake, and it doesn't show here, but I also bought the rears from SDTruckSprings as well, and they where quite easy. I did all this while the truck was sitting in the driveway, and I'm sure it is probably easier if the truck is on a hoist, as these shocks have a strong 'push back', so after installing the top, I'd have to use a bottle jack to jack up the bottom of the shock and put into place. Truck rides great, and I would suggest for anyone with average skills of working on a car/truck, to attempt this, as it's really not all that difficult. Took me maybe an hour and a half.
Installed my Bilstein front and rear shocks, and steering stabilizer as soon as I received them. Delivery was only 2 days. The ride improved immediately. Tire wear has been minimal since installing. Installation was same as other shocks with good instructions. Have recommended these shocks to three friends. I will continue to use them.
