The Air Lift Ultimate airbags are performing as described. Once UPS delivered the packages, inclusive of the wireless monitor, I started assembling the parts for installation. It took me three days because I took my time. I had previously downloaded both instructions from online. I have used the system several times for heavy items placed in the bed of our Ford F-250 and have been delighted that I could maintain the truck's ride height by activating the wireless remote. All components were made robust in my opinion and I am expecting longevity out of both systems. Since we live in a cold region, I will ensure to add the special chemical to the airbags per the instructions. Thanks for the opportunity to comment. Thomas
I installed the compressor and bags but am having trouble getting it to work correctly unless I bypass the low pressure sensor. I called your support department 2 different times. The first time I spoke with someone, he told me that he would send something out and email me within a few hours or the next day. I never received anything. The second time I called, a few weeks later, I spoke to someone (with what sounded like a NY accent) and he told me that he would get back to me. I haven't heard back from him either. I called AirLift directly and they will be sending me a low pressure sensor. Thank you, George Villa
A pretty simple and easy install. I did need to drill holes in the frame, but once this was done, the install went quick. Maybe 1-1/2 hours total. Once installed, I put a camper on the truck, hooked up an ATV trailer, aired up the springs, and left for a week. It was great having the extra support. I had a level ride, and it handled great!
Installation on my 2003 Ford F-350 was pretty simple and easy. I did have to drill holes, but other than that, it only took about 1-1/2 hours to install, and would have gone faster if I wasn't being so careful with measurements. Shortly after installing the air springs, I loaded a camper and trailer and went on a one-week camping trip. I was able to put some air in the bags and make the truck level. It rode great, and was so much nicer than before installing!
I like this product . Dialing in ride quality was not difficult and was improved . They let me take loads to the dump without ruining my truck .
These air bags work as good or even better than I expected. Very high quality. Powder coated metal surfaces and very heavy duty. Simple to adjust to the desired ride height and eliminated some slight away with my toy hauler. Installation was straight forward. One of the most difficult tasks was cutting the U-bolts on the leaf springs of my F-250. I later realized I really didn't need to. Check your clearances using all mounting hardware with the full weight of the truck on the springs! I highly recommend these if you pull a heavy trailer or load over 1000 lbs in your truck.
