The newest line of Hellwig's patented helper suspension is the "Pro Series" helper springs. These are the next generation of helper springs designed to offer "load assist" and "Sway Control" in an easy to install package.
It is good if the load is not too much. It does certainly lift up my tundra from sagging. Unfortunately, my load is way too much so I needed to upgrade it to an airbag lift. It lifts up much more. Therefore, you need to see how much load you are carrying in order to choose the right product. Overall, it does worth the money.
Excellent addition to any truck looking to have a little more strength in the bed for hauling. I have a shell, decked unit, and loaded it with 500lbs of sand bags and had no sag in the back. Highly recommend!
Parts packaged wrong. Directions are not clear-pics are backwards. Springs do not line up with factory springs after install. I do believe the product works well but at this day and age where they fell short is unacceptable. This product was recommended to me by a friend who does his research. I would not recommend to anyone I know. Just being honest.
I'm quite pleased. I have a slide on truck camper. Although it doesn't exceed my Tundra's weight limit, the truck sagged in the back and swayed more than I liked. These springs took out all the sag while "lifting" the back only about a half inch. The sway was greatly reduced. Installation took MUCH longer than advertised because you have to completely disconnect the axle to get a pin in place. If only they had a set for my Yukon...
I installed these on 2014 Tundra. The front drivers side uses a u-bolt sideways with rollers to attach spring. The front passenger side uses a Z shaped u-bolt to attach springs and the crossbar lines up under the factory springs rivet and plastic "button". Very poor engineering on this, in my opinion. Parts package was missing one hardened washer for the long u-bolts. The springs raised the rear of the truck about 2" and there is still more tension adjustment left. I am satisfied with the support that the springs added, just not too thrilled with the method they use to attach the front of the springs. Like another poster mentioned, it does require a little extra time to install these as compared to Ford and Chev installations.
The product works great. My truck doesnt sag or drop to the ground I put my stock trailer. And they dont make the ride rough when the trucks not loaded. I would reccommend to any one to use. Just one down fall is you need more time than usual to install on the toyota. But other than that great product
I was hoping for a much stiffer ride in the back to tow my 9,500lb trailer(850lbs tongue weight). Not much seems to have changed. maybe a 10% change in stiffness. Even when loading my 5.5' bed with cargo for a camping trip (1,300lbs) it only made a slight improvement. I might have to tighten these springs the whole way down to see if that's what it takes.
