Replaced the stock sway bar (with shot bushings) on my 97 F53 motorhome. Easy install and helped greatly reduce the lean when cornering. Also added a rear sway bar where there was non originally. It drives just like a truck now instead of driving a house.

This sway bar is much thicker than the previous one installed. Combined with the new rear sway bar, the handling is vastly improved. When driving in traffic, I was struggling to keep the motorhome in the lanes. It was scary. With the new sway bars installed, there is no wandering around. It goes where you point it. When driving through windy canyons, it's much easier to maintain control. You can still feel the wind, but the coach doesn't lean. It's rock steady. These sway bars should have been installed from the factory.

the upgrade was worth the cost and effort. wasn't the easiest to install, had to raise the front of the motor home some. it did help the swaying of the coach. i also installed the rears from hellwig, there weren't any installed at the factory. the rear made a huge difference, little tricky to install, had to bend a brake line that the instructions pointed out. bending a brake line without kinking it is the trick.
