Ride-Rite air helper springs are the workhorse of Firestone's air helper spring line. The double convoluted air springs offer maximum load capacity as well as years of worry-free service and support.

Ride-Rite air helper springs are installed between the frame of your vehicle and the suspension, providing load support by using air pressure.

Firestones air springs have become synonymous with quality, durability, and customer support that is second to none. Ride-Rite air bag kits utilize a pair of convoluted air springs which can be adjusted to accommodate your load capacity. The Ride-Rite series is capable of 3,200 - 5,000 lbs. of load level capacity. After installed, your ride will be enhanced by reducing inter-leaf friction which will keep your truck level, reduce suspension fatigue, and increase the stability of your Chevy / GMC vehicle.

I installed this kit on my 1995 Tacoma 4x4 ZR2. My goal was to correct the Taco lean and have more stability when I have heavy loads in the bed. As far as that function goes, it’s awesome. Takes just seconds to fill to whatever PSI you need to run, even on a weak air compressor. The hardware that the kit comes with is worthless in my opinion. I went to a local hardware store and got what I wanted along with some thread locker. I saw a previous post about the brackets breaking or hardware breaking and I can see why. If you are going to be hauling heavy loads on a continual basis I would get much higher grade hardware or even just have the brackets welded in. Otherwise, it’s a great product. As for my usage with heavy loads I don’t see having any problems with breaking anything but we will see over time. I would have given this product a 5 star review if the directions had been better/vehicle specific with more pictures and higher grade hardware was supplied. Tip on installat

I've used these springs for about 4 years on a 2003 Tacoma with a Phoenix popup camper. Although the springs themselves work great, I went through three sets of brackets. The brackets are not strong enough to hold the weight. On the 3rd set, I had them welded to the frame, with an additional support piece. They now work as designed.
