The difference between Rough Country body lift kit and other manufacturers is the additional 1.25” of tire clearance Rough Country kit gives you to the standard 1” that other manufacturers provide. The 1.25” spacers nest with the factory body mounts will keep the body properly aligned with the frame. By having this design, this will provide lift while retaining the noise and vibrations and canceling characteristics of the factory mounts. The shifter adapter allows you to run any 1” or 1.25” body lift kits on a JK with a manual transmission. You would not have to cut the inner shift boot and gives you back the shifter length due to the body being raised away from the frame.
