The Hellwig Big Wig sway bar for 2017-2022 4wd super duty is the new monster sway bar in hellwig's line of load and sway control products. The big wig sway bar is designed specifically for those vehicles like the 4wd F250, F350 Super Duty that undergo more than the average amount of loading and hauling. With it's increased diameter and heavy duty hardware, the big wig is designed to provide at least 20% greater stability.
NOTE: Never load vehicle beyond the manufacturer's maximum gross vehicle weight rating.
The rear Big Wig Sway bar greatly improved my 2018 Ford F350 Truck. I purchased the truck with the camper package so that a Ford sway bar would be included. The Ford sway bar was too small about 5/8 of an inch. The Big Wig bar is about 1 1/4 inches. It is much safer to drive my truck now. It was very easy to replace the Ford small sway bar with the new Big Wig Sway Bar. Less than 30 minutes. Buy it you will be amazed at the improved handling.
Installation was straight forward and it took about 30 minutes to install. Sway is definitely reduced with slide in camper. I do have a suggestion on the shape of the sway bar. The u-shape section that goes around the differential cover sticks too far out, its actually under the spare tire which I don't care for. This u-section should be tightened up closer to the differential.
