About the Tuff Country Suspension Lifts for Chevy/GMC

Tuff Country Chevy suspension lift kits are designed to be installer friendly and extremely durable. Using the combination of one-piece or three-piece sub frame and steering knuckles (most applications), these lift kits are “Tuff” to bear in value and performance.

Hot new kits designed for the Tahoe & Colorado lift use two cross members that are connected by a heavy duty skid plate designed to protect the front differential and stabilize the cross members. All Tuff Country suspension lift kits for Chevy are designed and manufactured with the highest quality and will give you an overall superior ride quality.

What is Included in a Chevy Pickup Lift Kit?

Early Chevy/GMC straight axle suspension lift kits use the fame “EZ-Ride” leaf springs. Each leaf spring is tapered, snub rolled and pre-set for the most comfortable ride available in a lifted positive arch leaf spring. Some kits like the tuff country 12030 (2" / 07-14) will include front & rear u-bolts along with new spring eye bolts. Lift kits can be purchased with front and rear leaf springs or the more economical option of front leaf springs paired with rear lift blocks and add-a-leafs.

How difficult is it to install a Lift Kit onto my Chevy Pickup?

When it comes to installing the Tuff Country suspension lift kit, average time can be anywhere between 4 to 8 hours. As far as difficulty, it will all depend on the type of Chevy/GMC model you are installing on like a Chevy Silverado or Chevy Avalanche not to mention how much you have experience with installing lift kits.

Should I replace my shocks?

When lifting your Chevy/GMC truck, additional parts may be required to complete installation. One such suspension part is your factory shocks. While installing, you will extend the travel of your shocks to the point that they may not reach the existing shock mounts. When this happens it is important to replace them to avoid damage to your truck.

Does Tuff Country offer a warranty on lift kits?

Yes, Tuff Country does offer a Lifetime Warranty on all their suspension lift kits.
