For example, if you are adding tuff country 42702K which is the 4” lift kit for the 1976-1986 Jeep CJ5 / CJ7, this kit will include front and rear leaf springs, a drop pitman arm, u-bolts and a brakeline relocating kit. Tuff Country 43802K which is the 3.5” Lift for 1987-2001 Jeep Cherokee includes coil springs, lower control arms, track bar bracket, u-bolts, leaf springs, brakeline relocating kit and transfer case drop kit. So as you can see each kit is different but will all give you the same result.

How hard is it to install a Tuff Country Jeep lift kits?

Tuff Country has made installation of their suspension lift kits rather easy. The average time it may take someone with experience could be anywhere between 4 to 8 hours. Tuff Country has designed their kits for that weekend warrior who has the whole weekend to take their time to install.

Should I replace any suspension parts during installation?

It is recommended that you replace your factory shocks when you are installing the Tuff Country Suspension Lift Kit. During installation you will be extending the travel of your factory shocks to the point that they won’t reach the mount. Tuff Country also offers additional replacement parts for their Jeep lift kits including sway bar end links, brake line and sway bar disconnects.

Does Tuff Country offer any warranties?

The answer is yes, Tuff Country does offer a Lifetime Warranty on all of their Jeep lift kits.
