AMP Research Powersteps are built here in America and have been tested and proven in harsh weather conditions without falter. The Power step design features a lightweight, solid running board which supports a load capacity of up to 600 lbs and aircraft-quality aluminum built to last.

Each set of PowerStep running boards are Teflon coated to prevent against rust and corrosion. Precision, stainless steel hinge points as well as bearings are also included to make sure your powerstep running boards operate flawlessly.

These automatic, power-deploying running boards from AMP Research are powered by a heavy duty electric motor that does not require maintenance. The installation involves plugging right your trucks existing wiring harness and will operate depending on the orientation of your doors.

While your doors are closed, the powerstep will remain hidden underneath your vehicle. Open up the doors and the powerstep will instantly extend without running into any type of clearance issues.

Integrated LED lights are also included with each pair of Powerstep running boards to further solidify safety and security when getting in and out of your truck.

Some models may offer a "Plug-and-Play" system which will simplify installation with a factory-designed, wired pigtail. The plug and play wiring will plug directly into your OBD-II port to connect the PowerStep controls to your vehicle's computer. Still not convinced?
