2004-2014 Ford F150 4wd (New Body Style) - "Load Lifter 5000" Air Helper Springs [REAR]

I put these air bags on myself in approximately two hours. Everything was there. All the parts were of excellent quality. It made a huge difference in how my truck handles going down the road and now the bumps are barely noticeable. I highly recommend these to anyone pulling a trailer,camper or whatever it may be.

I personally installed the air system and it was easy and works perfectly.

The product was great! Did what it needed to and helped with load and trailer tongue weight. I didn’t over los my truck but just needed some help as a 1/2 ton has very soft springs and will sag with the smallest amount of weight. The bags held up great and all the hardware and lines worked great, the truck was the problem. The Ecoboost just couldn’t pull the trailer at highway speeds.

I installed this on my truck about a year and a half ago, it has been great. Installation wasn't too bad, probably took me about 2 hours taking my time just in my garage. Only complaint I have is the passanger side started leaking after about 6 months, but I have heard this is common since the exhaust is fairly close to that side. I replaced the hoses and the fittings hoping that was where my leak was, which helped but it still has a small leak. Holds air for a day or two so I just carry my pump with me. One thing I would recommend to anyone buying is to buy the compressor as well. Good product and does the job I intended it for.

I like your air bags I will buy them for my next truck. Very easy to install and use .I've hauled 3500 lbs in my 1/2 ton ford truck many times. They are great for towing my 28' race trailer. Supper to level any load

The air lift bags work great. I did have a friend install them for me since he has done many. I have no problem recommending these to anyone, matter fact my brother in law ordered and installed on his truck. Thanks

Awesome product and well worth every dollar spent, best investment I’ve made for my f150 . The ride is incredible and I recommend them to everybody and SD Spring went above and beyond to get me my replacement bags because of the faulty inserts that pulled out., everything was free and fast shipping on the replacement bags.

It is one of the best kit for my vehicle. The main advantage of this kit it Works in conjunction with existing suspension for precise leveling support when it matters most . installed very easily and Fits easily between the frame and the axle . the top notch kit I have ever seen . great job sd truck .

They are working out fantastic. I tow a 38 foot ,9,000 lbs camper and a 16 foot enclosed trailer. Installation took much longer than expected. Not much room under the hood of an EcoBoost F-150 to mount the compressor. I also had a problem finding a power source as everything is powered by the BMC.I am a retired 64 year old mechanic with over 40 years under my belt. Did the work in my driveway so I move a little slow. All in all I am very satisfied with these air bags.

Yes the air lift bags work awesome. Heavy load back of truck f 1-50 1,500 lbs. And 600 lb. Tongue weight. From anchorage, ak. To seattle wa. With no problems.So i loved the product and want every one to use the services for better results.

i think the spacers that you sold me that goes under air bags are to high for the 6" left that is on my truck it bottoms out when I hit a bump what is ur cure. please suggest and revert me as soon as possible .

The Air Lift kit was boxed with all the parts. Directions were clear and easy to follow. I installed the kit in an afternoon without any difficulty. It is very beneficial for my Ford F 150. The system holds air very well with no leakage. I recommend everyone this kit highly. Thank You SD truck springs .

If it doesn't fit is it really a good deal? I had to modify both the supplied brackets as well as my existing axle brackets to make this kit fit. The price was good and the quality seems to be as well, but the entire time I was installing I was wishing I had bought firestone bags instead. Save yourself the hassle and buy a different kit.

SD Suspension - We purchased the Air Bag Kit 57200 for our F-150 (Which has a 2" leveling kit on the Front, and runs 35x12.5 mud tires) so we could mount our sled deck to haul our snow-mobiles this winter. (I'll send a photo - look for it) The purchase, shipping, instructions and install process was first rate, simple - straight forward and fast. Kudu's to SD. The product works as described, we didn't add the on board air since this is mostly for seasonal use. Have recommended to a friend (with a 2015 F-150 - he'll be towing an enclosed 8 x 20 sled trailer - needs the lift for the tongue weight. Thanks again for a great experience.

I installed this kit 2 years ago and finally writing a review. This weekend I'm taking it off my truck and going with an add a leaf. Problems started with installation. The instructions were easy to follow but the buckets the bags sit in have two different holes to bolts can go in but the holes would make the bag either mount too far forward or two far back. This wasn't a problem until a few weeks later I went over a dip in the road at an angle and I heard one of my bags pop out of the bucket. It ripped the hose as well. This happened about 4 times to me every time I went over a dip or any type of off road driving. Each time I would try to adjust it a little different. Also, you really need to get a compressor and controller. I could never keep the bags equal and at the pressure I wanted but I was cheap and the compressor and controller will double your install cost. Also, ride quality was terrible. Product works as described. But it did not go go as easy as described. Drivers side cutting was involved and passenger side, the bottom bracket won't even touch the axle. But i got it to work after 5 hours. no warranty card included or a site to send it.

Straight forward to install, easy as per instructions and they worked great. I put a1500 lbs fifth load on an F150 without any noticeable movement. I'm very happy with the air bags.

To start with when I started to install the air bags, there was missing parts, which stopped the installation for over a couple weeks. Once I received the parts the installation went OK, had to grind a part of the frame to get the clamp on the passenger side. Had a video for a 2013 F-150 that went better that the written instructions from air lift. Made a great improvement on the ride with only 10lbs in the bags. Have not tried them with a load in the back yet. Over all I am please with the product. Very pleased with the follow up from SD springs and their price. Air lift followed up with their rebate quickly. Would recommend your Company and Air Lift products to others. Irv

I bought the air bag and and I have't say that I am Very happy with the air bags.

Just finished installing this kit with heavy duty compressor setup. Install went on a 2012 F150 Ecoboost max tow. Product seems to have been manufactured with good quality. Install was a little longer than 2 hours that it has listed. Few issues that I ran into with install was the lower bracket when it sits in with the leaf pack ubolts gives an unadjustable angle for the carriage bolts. What happened was on the inside rear carriage bolt was hitting my ABS bracket. I had to remove the outside line that was placed there and actually bend the bracket to a 90 degree so the carriage bolt would fit correctly. The passenger side was another story. I had setup everything, removed the bolt they say to grid down, I just removed it and cut it back so it was a cleaner install. All passenger side carriage bolts were placed and the axle bracket was mounted. The small axle bracket had to be ground down pretty substantially so it would fit correctly. Everything after fitment was torqued to

The air lift kit works as advertised. I had one problem with installation. The right outside bottom bracket for the axle would not fit on my 2012 F150 ecoboost. The bracket had to be ground down to fit due to a OEM bracket already on the truck. The bracket was way too wide. Other than that it went well and works great. Very easy to level out my RV and good ride. Don't notice much difference in ride quality without a load. Definitely gives truck a "lifted" look to it. Highly recommend.

To start with, I've turned wrenches on race cars for years and served as a crew chief for four years on a Pro Mod team. I've installed several Firestone Ride Rite bags systems as a comparison to the Load Lifter 5000 system. I found the Load Lifter took twice as much time to install over the axle tubes. The Firestone go on top of the spring pack and are very straight forward. This set works around all the hoses and brackets attached to the tube. The driver side almost did not go on due to the ABS bracket was in the way 1/8". If I would have had more time before my trip with trailer, I would have returned these for the Firestone. The extra hundred bucks was nothing compared to the head ache these gave me! Neither side was the same to install. Lots of parts require you to follow instructions very very closely. They work, but were a royal pain!
