TufTruck TTC-1223 Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I go over the weight capacity on my 2013 Dodge Ram 1500?
A: The answer is NO. You should never go over your weight capacity on your Dodge Ram. This can damage parts of your suspension and can be a hazard to you and your vehicle.
Q: How easy is it to install the coil springs onto my Dodge truck?
A: Installation is fairly easy. You will need a jack and jack stands to lift your Dodge off the ground. Remove the stock coil springs, then place the heavy duty coil springs into the mount brackets and install the new shocks (if you are getting newer shocks). You do not need a coil spring compressor to install but it is recommended.
Q: When replacing my Ram coil springs, should I also replace my shocks as well?
A: :Though you do not have to replace your shocks the same time, we do recommend it. We offer Dodge Ram 1500 front shock absorbers including rancho RS999367 which is for the 09-10 Dodge Ram 1500 Rancho shocks.
Q: What if I just want to level my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 without the load support, what can I use?
A: : If you are just looking to level out your dodge truck, we recommend going with a leveling kit. With a leveling kit like tuff country 32902 (2006-2014 Ram 1500 2” front level), you will raise the front of your truck so that it is leveled with the rear. Dodge leveling kits do not offer load support.

Install my HD springs yesterday, Ram 1500 4WD quad cab. Took about 2 hours due to not being able to lift the truck frame high enough to fully relieve the spring tension. Not a bad job with spring compressors. found it easier to just remove the rear inner fenders to allow for more working area, probably only added an extra half hour to the job. ride is just a little stiffer than the stock springs but no complaints. I measured the height before and after, the new springs only added 1 1/4 inch to the rear height of the truck.

The's coils were definitely worth the investment. Installation was easy (1.5 hours taking my time) and without a spring compressor. (YouTube video was spot on) My truck has an ARE shell with tools loaded in the bed, which dropped the truck about 3 inches. These coils raised the bed at least 2-3 inches in height and maintains the height towing my ATV trailer.

I have made a couple of purchases from SD Truck Springs and now have a warranty claim on a Rancho shock. Talked to Mike in customer service, great guy to deal with. Took care of my claim with little to no effort on my part. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Great customer service and a pleasure to deal with.

Had a 4" lift installed on my truck with a 2" spacer on the rear coils then installing the new TTC-1223 springs I got the back to come up 2 more inches. Truck rides the same as it did with stock coil springs. Would recommend this product for any guys who have a 09-15 Ram 1500.

I replaced the stock rear coil springs on my 2013 ram 1500 sport 4x4 quad cab with the tuff truck ttc-1223 50% increase springs. When I do not have a load on my truck it sits about 2" higher than the stock springs did. I noticed very little difference in ride quality difference and over all I am very pleased with the springs even when I am not loaded. I would recommend these springs to anyone who like to haul more weight than the stock springs can handle.
