I bought this Air Bag Lift Kit #60828HD after consulting with SD Truck Springs and Airlift to stabilize my 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab rear suspension when towing our 6400# Travel Trailer, because the truck had so much Sag & Sway with the OEM Suspension, we were getting thrown around on the road. Great customer service from both! Our other Travel Trailer that was destroyed in a wind storm was about 5400# when towing with our 2012 Ram 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab and it was not a problem with that truck. This is the Best!! With the Air Bags, I also purchased the Wireless One #25980 Remote Control Air Compressor System and programmed in my settings, and Wow!! This is a Super Combination and Stabilized our suspension and lift for Towing. Had it installed at our local Mopar Dealer, Mike Motors. Set at 25-30 PSI when towing the Travel Trailer and 5 PSI when not towing. Would absolutely recommend this combination!! We love it! It is a must for our Ram 1500! The truck has a 5.7L Hemi, 4WD, 8
So far I am very pleased with the results of the air lift 1000HD. Instructions should communicate dropping the sway bar link to get travel required to get spring out for installation. Unclear if it matters that max pressure is 50PSI after load is already applied or not when filling air bags. Hard to tell if it supports 2000lbs or not. Since the length does not equal the total length with no load it takes a 2-3 inch compression which I think is perfect for a full load of 1250lbs. Trailer and vehicle lot more safe and level. Longevity is TBD and hope lifetime warranty is not needed.
