Spring Codes

Almost every light duty Ford truck or SUV will utilize a spring code in order to identify which spring is in the truck. This is a huge advantage to identifying springs, as there are many different leaf spring stacks that can appear in Ford trucks.

How to Locate Your Spring Code
Determining your spring code is fairly simple. More than likely the spring code will reside at the bottom-right of the tag where the VIN is (Panel of DRIVER SIDE Door). It will be a 2, 3, or 4 character code.
